The use of decorative glass aggregate for decorative concrete is becoming increasingly popular. Decorative glass used as an exposed aggregate in decorative polished concrete will add colour beauty and style. Decorative glass aggregate for decorative concrete finishes can be exposed in a few different ways. Typical exposed aggregate procedure (surface retarders), sandblast the surface, or diamond polish the surface. Decorative glass aggregates can be integrally mixed into the decorative concrete but more often they are broadcast onto the surface of fresh concrete. When using decorative glass aggregate, this technique is increasingly being used to add interest to diamond polished floors and concrete countertops.
